The client is an individual based in the USA who has developed a web application for a rewards and recognition platform designed for employees. His company, Abacus, operates as an investment firm specializing in offering capital, resources, and extensive expertise to support founders and owners in the lower middle market.
Employee engagement was negatively impacted by infrequent recognition. Because there was no structured program for recognition and awards, the company's current initiatives were haphazard, inconsistent, and carried out in silos. The client decided it was a top priority that needed to be addressed and started looking for fair, equitable, and consistent technology throughout the organization. To handle their rewards and recognition program, they needed a role-based web app with an approval system. It was getting more and harder to run and monitor the Rewards and recognition program using Excel sheets as the business and workforce grew. The client acknowledged that a small portion of its personnel were being recognized and rewarded by its reward and recognition program. In order to encourage values-driven behavior, the team intended to design a reward and recognition web app with a seamless user experience.
Employers can use the web app to boost morale and give everyone a sense of worth for their job.

The admins and users of the client can log in using their email addresses and passwords utilizing the login page.
All departments are informed of the nomination, approval, and payment of awards, as well as the procedure and budget.
Email notifications and reminders are sent to all stakeholders from the time a nomination is made until it is approved.
The project made sure that rewards could only be processed when the necessary budgets were available.
Dashboard reports allowed departments to compete among themselves to outperform one another and earn prizes
Employees can redeem the points earned to date and shop for the eligible items under reward using the points.
