Safety Improvement Application Development
This safety improvement application collects the observations from the organizational Staff and non-staff, and the respective department head will take care of the closure observation, and some observation categories will be verified by the top management. This system uses the competency of Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and MS Form to develop durable and scalable systems. Other members developed MS Forms to make entries, and with the help of Power Automate, it will reflect form responses in the SharePoint List. The respective department heads have permission to take closure images with the camera and add current observations to make it close, re-open, or may be rejected. Category-wise option over there to validate or reject the current observation by the head.
Challenges
The biggest challenge for this project was making entries by non-staff. For the same, we prepared the MS form, and with the help of Power Automate, we copied that response into the SharePoint list. The challenge was to make power automate to collect the observation from the MS-Form and assign that observation to the respective department head. It was challenging to manage the categories-wise options like validate and reject for some categories during close observation for others. The client wanted to manage the Power BI Reports to cover the entire project MSI detain in a single dashboard.
