The biggest challenge for this project was making entries by non-staff. For the same, we prepared the MS form, and with the help of Power Automate, we copied that response into the SharePoint list. The challenge was to make power automate to collect the observation from the MS-Form and assign that observation to the respective department head. It was challenging to manage the categories-wise options like validate and reject for some categories during close observation for others. The client wanted to manage the Power BI Reports to cover the entire project MSI detain in a single dashboard.

Our Approch
We developed a PowerApps application to automate the observation collection process, enhancing efficiency and saving time. By leveraging Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power BI, we created a cohesive system for seamless data management and reporting. The user-friendly Microsoft Forms were designed for easy input by both staff and non-staff, promoting greater participation in safety observations. We implemented role-based access management with strict controls to ensure data integrity, allowing only authorized personnel to manage specific operations. Additionally, real-time dashboards and advanced reporting features were integrated to provide immediate insights into safety trends and observation status.
